The flyer was given to us on 4 Sep. Colleague C asked IT to convert the flyer into HTML on 5 Sep, which was ready on 6 Sep.
I apologise for overlooking the sending of the flyer as we were busy with events on 6 & 7 Sep.
Yesterday when Colleague B called me to ask about the email blasting, i told her that i will send it out yesterday forgetting that I had already sent 3emails to the server prior to her phonecall.
1) Employment Relations' Legislation Workshop Series (18, 20 & 28 Sep 06)
2) Business Mission to Changsha, Hunan Province In Conjunction with the Expo Central China 2006 - 25 - 29 Sep 06
3) Seminar on Mergers & Acquisitions Law - 28 Sep 06
CA expo was not included as there was no way the server would have been able to send all four jobs out yesterday.
The server only managed to send out 1) & 2) yesterday n 3) was only sent out this morning,
thus the CA expo email was only sent out today.
As the other 3 events are in Sep whereas CA Expo is on 31 oct, priority was given to the other events as the numbers are very low.
My apologies for the overlook.
Regards,After my boss read the email, she said.. oh event in oct n late by a few days (today's 12 Sep) only ah aiya... ok wat.. n replied..
"Typically would have sent out by 8 Sep.
In this case a little late by two days due to the unusual workload.
Colleague A – we have also sent for faxing becos we were under impression only email since there are so many pages and would be costly. Else typically, fax would have gone out first since no need to change to HTML by IT. "
she dun even bother to ask me wat happened b4hand..
hm... eh no la she did la she did ask me why didn't send but my com was down n i had no way of checkin the dates of when we receievd the flyer, etc. so i told her i'll chk n get back to her once my PC was workin.. after that Colleague A called her again to make noise n my boss told me to fax out n tat Colleague A wans a black n white explanation haha
so... was she leavin me to fend for myself? maybe she tot it's nth...
dun get me wrong i realise that i was at fault, i dun even have any answers for myself as to why the email blast wasn't done..
come to think of it maybe my boss really tot it's nth.. a small matter only... cos if it were another dept i tink she would ve been more concerned and she would be the one draftin the explanation. haha... dunno y... feel very tired today... maybe cos i realised there's quite some stuff i have got to do... some stuff which was handed over to me to do when a colleaue left.. n also the knowlegde of knowin there would be some things that i would ve to *re-do* cos the colleague who left didn't do a gd job n is not meticulous AT All... wait ba... wait till i have the time to sort things out ba...
