we did send out CTC to chase for payment b4 but she didnt receive.. see we so nice help ur dept to chase for ur dept's revenue so hor u get bonus mus give me a treat..anyway she called cos they go thru their records n found this invoice still outstanding and the cheque (expired) has not been banked in..

Quantity and when you need them?
By telling Colleague to ensure there’s always stock in the storeroom, she would not know ‘how much’ stock you are referring to, because there are still quite a number of paper folders in the storeroom. As such, you may want to help me understand better the usage of white paper folder (and maybe other stationeries) for your dept in terms of the frequencies of the usage and the quantity.

My email to Colleague was just to alert her that the quantity is diminishing so that she is able to put in an order for the folders to avoid shortage should any staff require the folders.
Admin has always been the one in charge of ordering stationeries including white folders and also the grey files n ensuring there's sufficient stock. I have never informed Admin of how much quantity to order as Admin is the one in charge.
Since I do not know what is the quantity that Admin normally order, I'm afraid i am unable to advise on the quantity.
As for the usage for white folders, MR will normally use abt 100 - 150 pcs each month..

In fact, my email was not intended to make you worry for the stocks for these items. If you have read my email carefully, I am only asking about usage for your dept.

As for the usage of stationeries, i am unable to give u a figure on the number of stationeries required as it depends on how many events there are, and there is no fixed number of events per month.
As agreed with the previous HR in charge, Admin will always maintain stock of 150 pens..

Oh, then I should really thank you for the initiativeness and nice gesture. No worries, I do not take offence. I see it more as a misinterpretation of my email, and possible miscommunication, that’s why misunderstanding occurred.
By the way, you may not be aware, there has not been any handover from the previous HR & Admin in-charge to me, so I would not know what was the previous agreement you all had with her, and when I asked, nobody could give me an answer on anything that has been communicated to other departments pertaining to stationaries requests and usage. Unfortunately to mention, not even Colleague could answer these doubts I have.
Anyway, my purpose of checking with you is because as far as I understand, stationaries usage for Markets and MR Depts may be higher compared to other departments, due to seminars, events & activities. In fact, other than you, I have also spoken to a staff from Markets department on their usage. I need to get a feel of the utilisation rate of these items so that you get the stock you want to serve your work purpose.
Anyway, maybe w/o you realizing, you have answered my question on the quantity of the white paper folder i.e. 100 – 150 pcs per month. That will serve as a good gauge for us to note.
We will explore better ways to see how we can ensure that stocks are maintained at a constant level to cater to every department needs.
